Award Holders Associations

AHAs: an association of holders who want to continue to be involved with the Award, using their experiences for the greater benefit of current and future participants.

The AHA can give members the opportunity to engage in activities with like-minded people and bring them to the point where they are more confident about their ability to become leaders or volunteers.  By remaining in contact with the Award through an AHA, young people can also gain a clearer understanding of the Award’s operations and plan to take on a more directed role when his or her own circumstances permit.  AHAs are considered to be primarily for those who have recently completed their Awards.  But age should not restrict enthusiastic and committed Award holders from contributing to the Award in this way.
